Admissions

A public institution, Ujjain Engineering College was founded in 1966 by the Madhya Pradeshi government. The institute is situated in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, at Vasant Vihar and Indore Road.
The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is associated with and approves Ujjain Engineering College. In 1998, the state government granted the institute autonomy.
The college provides a variety of B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech specialisations, and admissions are based on performance on the entrance exams JEE Main and GATE. Students may also apply for the UG programme using their 10+2 grades, although JEE merit scores will be given preference. Students are then selected for their programmes through counselling sessions held by DTE.
Additionally, the institute offers part-time degree programmes in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, as well as a doctoral programme (Ph-D) in a variety of research areas;
