Admissions

Private, deemed-to-be-a-university SRM Institute of Science and Technology, formerly SRM University, provides a variety of undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctoral programmes on all of its campuses.
SRM University now has four main campuses, and it offers courses in a variety of fields like engineering, architecture, health sciences, and management. Every year, the registration procedure typically starts in the month of September, and admission is based on results from various entrance exams that the university administers. Students may apply to any of the university campuses in Sikkim, Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), Chennai, or the Delhi-NCR area.
To apply, candidates need go to the official website. Candidates must submit a fee of INR 1100 with their applications.

• The university administers SRMJEEE for admission to B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees.
• The SRMJEEE application form must be submitted by March 30.
• NATA scores are used to choose candidates for the B.Arch and M.Arch degrees.
• Candidates for the MBA programme are narrowed down by the university's SRMJEEM.
• NEET scores are used to determine admission to BDS and MBBS programmes.
• NEET PG scores are taken into account for MD/MS admission.
• Through the SRMJEEH or qualifying exam results, candidates are chosen for the remaining UG and PG medical programmes.
• Based on the results of the qualifying exams, candidates will be shortlisted for the UG, PG, and Diploma programmes.
• Admission to the Ph.D. programme is through the university entrance exam, which is followed by a presentation and an interview.
• Through the official university website, an application form for SRM University may be completed offline or online.
• Online applications can be filed through the official website along with a cost of INR 1100.

With 6064 students receiving job offers from the top four IT corporations on the first day of placement, SRM University in Chennai broke its previous placement record.

Wipro received the most offers (1641), followed by TCS (1611), Cognizant (1506), and Infosys (1304). The hiring of more than 1,300 students from a single college by each of India's four largest IT companies—TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Infosys—has resulted in 6064 positions being provided for the first time.

With 621 students being recruited by more than 50 top core organisations in May, the placement season for the 2015–16 academic year got off to a fast start. Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, SAP, Accenture, Dell, Philips, MuSigma, GE, Think @ Learn, Fidelity, ThoughtWorks, Amadeus, and HUL, to name a few, were some of the well-known employers.
