Overview

In 2001, Sathyabama University of Chennai was founded. Three departments and three UG programs made up its previous operation as an engineering college. When the Sathyabama University received university status, 15 departments with 10 UG and 4 PG programs were created. The MHRD designated Sathyabama University as a category "A" university in 2012. The NAAC gave Sathyabama University a "A" rating. Sathyabama University placed 67 overall, 43 among universities, and 54 among engineering schools in the NIRF Ranking 2022.

Sathyabama University currently offers 49 undergraduate and 21 graduate programs in a variety of disciplines, including business, law, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, and nursing. All of the important regulatory bodies, including the UGC, MHRD, NAAC, AICTE, COA, DCI, BCI, PCI, and INC, have approved the programs at Sathyabama University. Admissions

Admission to Sathyabama University in 2022

The Sathyabama All India Engineering Entrance Exam is used to determine admission to BE and B.Tech programs at Sathyabama University (SAEEE). Every year, Sathyabama University's academic year runs from the beginning of April until the end of July. The grades received in the qualifying examination are used to determine admission to the undergraduate and graduate programs at Sathyabama University.

Sathyabama University Admission Procedure

Admission to the aforementioned engineering, technology, architecture, design, pharmacy, law, and nursing programs of Sathyabama University is determined by performance on the university entrance exam. The grades earned in the prior qualifying examinations are used to determine admission to undergraduate programs (UG) in the arts, commerce, humanities, and sciences at Sathyabama University. Applications for admission are accepted starting in April each year. These applications are used to create a merit list, and Sathyabama University admissions decisions are made in accordance with the merit list. Admission to all post-graduate programs at Sathyabama University is based on GATE scores for ME and M.Tech and CAT scores for MBA. Normal applications are also accepted, though. Their selection is determined by the scores they received on the qualifying exam.
