Admission to OP Jindal University's B.Tech.

a minimum of 50% in the sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Language Subjects) in higher secondary school (Class XII).

For those who are SC, ST, or OBC, there will be a 5% mark relaxation in class XII.

JEE Mains results and/or the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test performance (CGPET).

Admission to OP Jindal University's M.Tech.

A B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in metallurgy, mechanical, chemical, production, industrial, or an M.Sc. in physics, chemistry, material science, or nano science and technology with a minimum cumulative grade point average is required for the M.Tech. in material science and technology.

For candidates who are ST or SC, there will be a 5% mark relaxation for graduation.

A good GATE score in the aforementioned fields is desired.

Students who are awaiting results will be awarded provisional admission based on prior performance.

Additionally, letters of recommendation from the candidates' former instructors may be requested.

Generally speaking, because these are full-time programmes, students must fully commit to their time spent learning and conducting research. It is advised that students remain in residence halls on campus, which will make it easier for them to apply for assistantships. Depending on availability, single rooms will be provided for M. Tech. students.

MAT Cutoffs 2018 for OP Jindal University

JGLS receives 48 offers from top law firms in 2022, setting a record for placements.

On Day Zero and Day One of the placement process, the Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) graduating class of 2022 received a record 48 accepted offers from some of India's most famous law firms. JGLS was ranked as India's top law school in the 2021 QS World University Rankings by Subject.

Despite the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, 48 students accepted offers this year, breaking the previous high of 36 from the previous year. 6 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) and 7 Day-One Offers are included in this.

The largest recruiter across the board was Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, with 15 accepted offers including 1 PPO, followed by AZB & Partners (Mumbai) and Trilegal with 7 accepted offers each. Indus Law extended 4 offers, while AZB & Partners (Delhi) and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. hired 2 students each. Argus Partners recruited 1 student. HCL, one of India’s most prestigious IT services and consulting organisations, recruited 5 students for its general counsel practice.

 Also, while Veritas Legal extended 2 PPOs, Khaitan & Co., J. Sagar Associates and Sarvada Legal also extended PPOs to 1 student each. The Zero Day Placement for the Graduating Batch of 2022 was held on August 4-5, 2021, followed by Day One Placements.

Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, the founding vice chancellor of JGU, commented on the accomplishments of the JGLS students, saying, "JGLS has grown stronger despite the difficult circumstances. The Office of Career Services and our students were forced to contend with an unfavourable economic climate in addition to the second wave's intense competition. The Office of Career Services, teachers, and students worked diligently for several years to produce the Zero Day results. By committing to several learning and professional opportunities, JGLS students displayed extraordinary resilience.
