Since its founding in 1959, the National Institute of Technology, Warangal has worked to educate and provide opportunities for students enrolled in engineering, technology, and science disciplines. It is a well-known independent institution that is situated in Telangana's Fathima Nagar. AICTE has given the institute its approval. The NIT Warangal campus sits on a sizable 40,470 sq. m. of land. Its facilities cover 26,995 square metres. The distance between the institute and the Hyderabad airport and Kazipet Junction train station is only 10 kilometres. Furthermore, there are several access ways via the college that are only 7 miles from the NIT bus stop. NIT Warangal has achieved the 45th overall position and the 21st engineering position according to the most recent NIRF Ranking of 2022.

NIT Warangal Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission to various programmes, all interested candidates must fulfil the numerous eligibility requirements established by the NIT Warangal. Admission to NIT Warangal Qualifications for UG courses

NIT Warangal Admission Eligibility for PG courses:

Any Graduation + Entrance exam: This is a 2-year course, and entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, and GMAT are accepted.

B.Sc in the relevant stream: This is a 2 years course with an intake of 30 in each stream. Candidates need to attempt the IIT JAM entrance exam for the same.

Eligibility for specialisation under M.Sc – Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics:

BCA with 60% aggregate: This criterion is for candidates who want to secure admission in the MCA course at NIT Warangal. This is a 2-year course with an intake of 45. The candidate needs to attempt the entrance exam – NIMCET and clear it.

B.Tech with entrance exam: This criterion is for candidates who want to secure admission in the M.Tech course at the NIT Warangal. This is a 2-year course. The candidate needs to attempt the entrance exam (GATE) and clear it.

NIT Warangal Admission Eligibility for doctoral courses:

Masters' degree with entrance exam: This criterion is for candidates who want to secure admission in PhD in Engineering at the NIT Warangal. The GATE entrance exam is to be attempted by the candidate.

Cut-off

Candidates must meet the NIT Warangal cut off 2022 in order to be considered for admission. In the form of JoSAA opening and closing ranks, the cutoff is made public. The admissions process is only open to individuals who satisfy the necessary threshold. Candidates should be aware that the cut-off for each programme at NIT Warangal is issued separately. The cutoff for engineering programmes is determined on JEE Main scores. Therefore, in order to be admitted to the B.Tech programmes, aspirants must achieve the NIT Warangal JEE Main cutoff. Similar to this, GATE results are used by NIT Warangal to determine admission to the M.Tech programmes. Candidates for the M.Tech programme must achieve the NIT Warangal GATE cutoff in order to enrol.

2022 NIT Warangal Cut Off

The NIT Warangal cut-off 2022 list, which NTA produced following the publication of the JEE Main 2022 results, is used to enrol students into the National Institute of Technology Warangal. The inaugural JEE Main session took place in June. Between July 21, 2022, and July 30, 2022, the second JEE Main session was held. Before taking the exam, candidates must review the NIT Warangal cut-off 2021 and 2020 list. In order to make the NIT Warangal cut-off list for 2022, they can design their exam approach in accordance with this knowledge into cut-off tendencies. Admissions to M.Tech programmes at NIT Warangal are based on GATE results. Therefore, in order to get admitted, students must achieve the NIT Warangal GATE cutoff 2022. The CCMT counselling method is used for NIT Warangal admissions in order to enrol qualified candidates. On the official website of CCMT, the GATE cutoff for NIT Warangal's M.Tech programmes has been made available online. Admissions to M.Sc. programmes at NIT Warangal are handled by Centralised Counselling for M.Sc., MSc (Tech) Admissions, or CCMN. To be eligible to participate, candidates must achieve the NIT Warangal JAM cutoff of 2022 since JAM scores are used to screen candidates. after the seat allocation phase of the counselling process.
