The Training and Placement Department

Students can get advice and support from the college's Training and Placement Department to help them reach their career objectives. The BE, MTech, and MBA students as well as the professors from all the disciplines are connected by JIT's Training and Placement Department (T&P). The cell serves as an intermediary between students and businesses.

The Training and Placement Department establishes relationships with businesses to set up student placement and training. The department collaborates closely with Department's Placement Coordinators (DPC), which are made up of faculty and students chosen from other departments.

To prepare the students for the industry, Campus Recruitment Training (CRT), Technical CRT, and Company-Specific Employability Training are offered. Through different initiatives like student internships, industrial training, industry visits, technical talks by industry delegates, and more, the T&P department works to connect industry and institute. We seek to connect students with institutions of higher learning in each field of study. The department maintains solid relationships with numerous reputable businesses and works together with reputable recruiters to improve placements at JIT.

Giving students access to work prospects and training that is ready for the market is the mission of the training and placement department. When we say that we provide education with a purpose, we imply that we want to get our students ready for the kind of ingestion that the sector enjoys. Leading MNCs come to our campus to recruit. To help students choose a professional path, the placement centre organises and offers programs on career counselling, aptitude tests, mock interviews, and group discussions.

For the purpose of placing suitable applicants, the centre maintains contacts with numerous hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, electronics, and information technology businesses. For training and placements, we are setting up interviews on and off campus. We employ an industry-feedback methodology (Employer Feedback Form), in which the business provides us with feedback on the performance of our previous students, which is then used to change the current teaching strategies.
