Admissions

Admissions In IGNOU

Admission to the Indira Gandhi National Open University is now open for July 2023. Interested students may submit an application up until the deadline per IGNOU regulations. All undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, advanced diploma, and advanced certificate courses have begun the admissions process. Students can begin completing and submitting the related application.

According to the admission standards, if a candidate is qualified for a fee waiver, they may only use it for one programme at a time. If a candidate attempts to submit more than one application while claiming a price waiver, all of their applications will be rejected.

Steps That Must Be taken For Applying In 2023

Before applying to any programme, students must carefully read the prospectus and the website. By selecting the new registration option, you can register as a new applicant.

• Complete the necessary information
• Select a username with eight to sixteen characters.
• Once you have finished filling out the application form, click submit.
• Keep your login information in mind.
• Documents must be uploaded
• Use a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI to pay the registration charge.

Documents Necessary

• A scanned image (less than 100 KB)
• Digital Signature (less than 100 KB)
• Age Proof scanned copy (less than 200 KB)
• Scanned copies of the appropriate educational credentials (less than 200 KB)
• A scanned copy of any applicable experience certificates (less than 200 KB)
• If SC/ST/OBC, a scanned copy of the category certificate (less than 200 KB)
• BPL certificate, scanned if below the poverty line (less than 200 KB)

Policy for Registration, Cancellation, and Refund

According to university policies, the registration money paid at the time an application was submitted is not refundable.

Guidelines for the Cancellation and Refund Policy

• If a candidate requests to be denied admission, a sum of 200 rupees will be subtracted.
• In the event that applicants request cancellation within 15 days, a deduction of Rs. 500 will be made.
• Once the admission cycle has ended and been closed for 30 days, there won't be any refunds given.

Placements At IGNOU

On October 12, 2022, IGNOU will conduct a placement drive in collaboration with the regional Delhi centres. The BR Ambedkar Convention Center on the IGNOU campus in New Delhi will host the hiring event. All IGNOU graduates and students who are working toward their degrees may apply. At the time of the interview, students must have their resume and passport-size photos with them. Later on the same day, the list of candidates who have been shortlisted will be made public.

A placement drive for the role of Customer Support/Tele Sales/Retention Executive during IGNOU placements 2022 was previously organised by the Campus Placement Cell (CPC) on August 4, 2022. Globiva, a company that manages business processes, took part in the campus recruitment campaign and offered all shortlisted applicants a compensation package between INR 1.8 LPA and INR 3 LPA during IGNOU placements in 2022.

IGNOU has a specialised Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that organises job fairs, campus placement drives, employability improvement initiatives, and other recruitment events all year round at the corporate headquarters, regional offices, study centres, and other locations.
