Admissions for IIT Patna 2022

Scholarship at IIT Patna

Means by merit At IIT Patna, students are given scholarships based on their merit. Application forms are available on the university's official website, and students must fill them out in order for results to be announced for those who qualify.

The scholarship grant for the selected students are as follows:

• For General & OBC students-
• Tuition fees are waived
• Allowance of INR 1000/- per month for two semesters ( 8 months in a year )
• For SC & ST Students-
• Fees for the Basic menu at the mess will be waived off
• Payments to the Hostel will be waived off
• Allowance of INR 250/- per month for two semesters ( 8 months in a year )

Eligibility requirements: merit-based

First-year students: If there is a tie, the AIR in JEE Advanced or JAM will be taken into consideration in addition to the Semester Performance Index (SPI). The student must pass all of their classes in the first semester and must have a minimum SPI of 6.5.
