Overview
The Hidayatullah National University of Law, Chhattisgarh Act (Act No. 10 of 2003), which founded the university, was passed by the Chhattisgarh government in 2003. Justice Mohammad Hidayatullah, a former chief justice of India, is credited with giving the university its name. The University Grants Commission and the Indian Bar Council both recognise HNLU, Raipur. At the Raipur campus of the Hidayatullah National Law University, about 900 students are enrolled.
Currently, the college is accepting applications for both the master's level LLM programme and the dual degree BA LLB programme. Admission is based on CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) scores for both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. The college used to admit students based on results from entrance exams held at the national level. Scholarships are also offered by HNLU, Raipur to students from Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, PWDs, and minorities who are residents of the state. Hidayatullah National Law University was ranked seventh on Outlook India's list of the "Top 25 Law Colleges in 2017" and thirteenth in The Week's list of the "Top Law Colleges 2017." The college was also given the "Academic Excellence Award 2018" at the Legal Desire Summit and Awards. the HNLU campus, On 65 acres of land, Raipur is home to a number of amenities, including a seminar hall, moot courts, auditoriums, classrooms, and a library. Digital whiteboards, smart internet connections, and high-tech classrooms are available in the college's classrooms. The seminar room's digitalization will also enable the candidates to present and use simple drawings.

Hidayatullah National Law University admissions
Admission is available to both a master's degree programme in law and an integrated law programme at Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU RAIPUR), Raipur. The HNLU, Raipur will choose students based on their CLAT scores. In addition, the college will check to see if the candidate met the required minimum percentage for the programme. Once the college releases its admission notices, the college's application procedure will start. Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU RAIPUR), Raipur always places a strong emphasis on training students in a variety of life skills during placements. The institution will host a range of placement-related events, including presentations, competitions, quizzes, aptitude tests, and industrial visits. In addition to this, the college also invites a lot of businesses to its campus to give job placements to the students. DM Harish & Co, Adani North America, RRG Associates, Thomson Reuters, Tech Mahindra, AZB & Partners, and Singhvi & Co. are a few of the key recruiting firms used by HNLU, Raipur. Many businesses enable students to work there after earning their degrees if they receive a final placement offer during the summer.
