Admissions

Admission to GPREC Kurnool B.Tech

The college's management fills B-Category seats in accordance with the regulations established by APSCHE, Hyderabad. Candidates are eligible for admission if they have successfully completed the two-year Intermediate Examination administered by the Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 45% of the marks in the prescribed group subjects, namely Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (40% for SC/ST candidates). However, the ranking in JEE (Mains) 2014, ranking in EAMCET 2014, and marks in the required group subjects in the qualifying examination are the order of priority for choosing candidates for admission.

70% of the authorised seats in a certain area of engineering are referred to as Category – A seats or Convener seats. Category B seats, also known as Management Quota Seats, are the remaining 30% of the available seats. The Convener, EAMCET, oversees admissions for Category – A seats. Admissions through online counselling based on students' EAMCET scores and Andhra Pradesh's reservation policies for professional colleges.

Admission to GPREC Kurnool M.Tech

70% of the seats in a specialization's sanctioned intake are referred to as A-Category Seats or Convener Quota Seats. B-Category Seats, also known as Management Quota Seats, are the remaining 30% of seats.

The Convener, PGECET manages admissions for A – Category Seats. Admissions via online counselling based on candidates' GATE/PGECET scores and the applicable reservation policies. The JNTUA, Anantapur's course-specific eligibility requirements are also taken into consideration when making admission decisions.

The college administration processes applications for B-Category Seats in accordance with the instructions provided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh (APSCHE). The college's B-Category admissions are subject to approval by APSCHE and JNTUA, Anantapur.
