Gitam University Distance Education: Courses Offered

Course	Details
BA	Eligibility - 10+2 pass with relevant subjects from a recognised board of Andhrapradesh state or any examination recognised by the GITAM University. Selection criteria- Merit mark obtained by the candidates  GAT examination conducted by GITAM University. Duration- 3 years
B.Com	Eligibility- 10+2 pass with relevant subjects from a recognised board of Andhrapradesh state or any examination recognised by the GITAM University. Selection criteria - Merit and Entrance marks Duration -2 years
MA	Specialization- English and Economics Eligibility- For English Undergraduate degree of 3 or 4 years from an institute recognised by the university Professional with qualifications such as CA/ACS etc. For Economics Passed degree other than BFA and BAOL that is recognised by the university Selection criteria- Merit And Entrance exam Duration- 2years
MBA	Specialization- General and HRM Eligibility- Bachelor’s degree with relevant subjects except for BFA & BOL from an institute recognised by the university Selection criteria - Merit based on Academic performance and Entrance exam Duration - 2 years

Admissions

Admission to Gitam University's distance learning programme

The Centre for Distance Learning admits students in two cycles, January and June. Offline and online applications are accepted for college admission. The identical form is available for download or in-person purchase at the university.

• Admission to undergraduate programmes is determined by the candidates' Merit scores and their rankings in the university-conducted GAT Entrance Test.
• Admission to postgraduate programmes is determined on GAT score and rank in the university's GAT entrance exam.
• Merit scores from the prerequisite degree for diploma courses at GITAM University's distance learning programme.

How can I apply?

In the Online mode

• The candidate can sign up for the online method on the CDL, GITAM university's official website.
• Candidates can register by clicking the Online Admissions banner and entering their information, including their degree, programme, group of subjects, medium, etc.
• Enter your personal information, including your name, date of birth, and admission exam location.
• Provide the given fee information, which can be done using DD or another kind of payment such a credit card or net banking.
• Finally, they register themselves by providing further information such as their address and past employment.

To use offline mode

The application form is available for download on the institute's official website.

• The candidate must take a printout of the application form after downloading it. The candidate must then enter the required information, such as name, date of birth, course type, etc.
• The candidates must next enter information such as their educational background, contact information, personal information, exam information, etc.
• Along with a demand draught for the full amount of fees payable to the university, the candidate must submit supporting documentation like a certificate and proof of birthdate.
• at the CDL, University, and submit the application form and supporting documentation.

Admission 2023

The Distance Education Bureau (DEB), New Delhi, has approved the GITAM Centre for Distance Learning (GU-CDL), which was founded in 2009. Through distant learning, GU CDL provides undergraduate and graduate programmes in a range of disciplines.

• Admissions Candidates having a valid GAT Score who have passed 10+2 are eligible for BA and B.Com. programmes.
• Candidates with a 10+2 pass may apply for DCE and DCA admissions based on merit.
• Graduates with a valid GAT score may apply for MA, M.Com., M.CA, M.Sc., and MBA programmes.
• Graduates can apply for admission to DESM and PGDCS programmes based on their merit.
• Students have the option of applying for these courses offline or online.
