Overview

The BUEST, often referred to as the Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies, is situated in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district.

A society was established in 2000 by a group of like-minded individuals to advance high-quality technical education. The Center for Advanced Studies in Engineering, or simply CASE, was the name of this society. It was recognised as a university in 2009 by incorporating the Institute of Engineering and Emerging Technology in a short period of time (2002). The UGC and AICTE both recognise and approve of the BUEST.

The 40-acre BUEST campus is situated at the base of the Shivalik hills. It has top-notch infrastructure with everything brilliant minds could possibly need. For non-medical B.Sc., the student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects

For BSc in Chemistry, The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with Chemistry as a compulsory subject

BCA

Intake of 60 seats

The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with 45% aggregate marks.

BBA

Intake of 60 seats

The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with 45% aggregate marks.

B.Com

Intake of 30 seats

The candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with 45% aggregate marks

B.Pharm

Intake of 100 seats

The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with Chemistry as a compulsory subject

B.Pharm is also available as a Lateral entry

M.Tech

Structural Engineering, Power & Electrical Drives, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics & Automation

Intake: 18 seats in each specialization

The candidate must have a B.Tech/B.E degree of a relevant stream from a recognised university

M.Sc.

Chemistry (Intake: 40 seats), Physics (Intake: 30 seats)

The candidate must have a relevant BSc degree from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% marks

MCA

Intake: 60 seats

The candidate must have a BCA graduate degree from a recognised university

MBA

Intake: 120 seats

The candidate must have appeared and cleared CAT or AIMAT, or HP CMAT. The score is considered to draw up the merit list. They must have an aggregate of at least 50% in their graduation degree.

M.Pharm

Intake: 18 seats

The candidate must have a B.Pharm degree from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50% and above.

BHM

Intake: 30 seats

The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board. They must also have passed with merit in the State entrance exam or the Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies exam.

BPT

Intake: 30 seats

The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with Biology as a compulsory subject.

Diploma in Pharmacy

Intake: 60 seats

The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

EMBA

Intake: 30 seats

The student must have passed 10+2 exams from a recognised board with a minimum 50% aggregate. They must also have passed the graduation exam in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks.

B.Ed

Intake: 50 seats

The candidate must have passed the graduation exam in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks. They should also have obtained merit in the State Entrance, or the entrance exam conducted by Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies.

Placemenet

The care and assurance of all the students' BUEST placements is handled by a separate department or cell. In order to assist them with the final placements, they conduct orientation, assist in locating summer internships, and organise industrial visits.

2022 BEST Placement Process

For the interview, the businesses travel to the Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies placements on campus. The students are asked to register for the placements and are given advance notice. Depending on the organisation, there might be written exams (technical, aptitude, etc.), group talks, and a round of personal interviews.
