Programmes in doctoral research

The university also provides M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in a variety of faculties, including those for the arts, humanities, engineering, science, medicine, and education. For these programmes, a master's degree in the relevant fields with at least a 55% overall aggregate is required.

Degree and Certificate Programs

The Annamalai University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a number of disciplines, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical management, computer applications, accounting, and finance. A passing grade in an intermediate(10+2) or intermediate graduate course is the prerequisite for eligibility.

Admissions

Admissions at Annamalai University

By registering on the official website, students can apply for admission to university courses by sending in their full applications, the requisite fees, and any other relevant attachments. Candidates can register by doing the following:

Step 1: Open the university's official website (https://annamalaiuniversity.ac.in) and select the 'New User' option.

Step 2: Create an account using a working phone number and email address.

Step 3: Log in using your AU Login information and browse the numerous programmes that are categorised into different streams.

Step 4: After choosing the programmes, the application form will appear; carefully complete it and upload all necessary papers.

Step 5: Submit the application form and payment in accordance with your category and course.

Annamalai University's Method of Selection

• With the exception of B.Pharm and B.Tech, all undergraduate programmes and diploma programmes choose students based on their performance in intermediate (10+2) exams. B.Tech. and B.Pharm. admission is based on an entrance exam, then there is an interview.
• Course to course variations in PG choices
• Admissions to the MA, M.Sc., and M.Com. programmes are based on a student's graduating grade point average.
• A physical fitness exam and personal interview make up the M.P.Ed. selection process.
• Selection for the M.Ed programme is based on merit and is followed by an interview.
• Applicants to the MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, and M.CA programmes are admitted based on their qualifying degree merit scores, admission exam results, and results of personal interviews.
• Aspiring M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates are chosen based on the results of a written exam given by the university, which is followed by a personal interview. A Ph.D. entrance exam is not required for NET/GATE qualifiers.

DDE at Annamalai University

Over 500 courses are offered by the Annamalai University Directorate of Distance Education. It provides education to those who want to learn but are unable to go to a school. A number of courses in fashion design, textile design, interior design, hotel management and catering technology, retail management, twinning, health science, a Commonwealth Youth Program, yoga, music, fire and safety, pharmaceuticals, taxation, etc. are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels through AU DDE.

Admissions at Annamalai University DDE

Candidates who want to enrol in Annamalai University's distance education programme can do so in one of two ways:

On-Site Admission

Only applicants who reside close to one of the recognised university Study Centers are eligible for Spot admission at Annamalai University. The Study Center will be used to choose all of the programmes. Candidates must visit any study centre or get in touch with the Annamalai University DDE office in person to submit the necessary paperwork and the application form in order to be considered for seats through spot admission.

Acceptance through Post

Other applicants seeking DDE Admission should send properly completed applications, attested photocopies of all necessary documents, and "The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar - 608 002" to the Annamalai University.

Cut-off

Students can check their results by entering their Roll Number or Register Number in the box located under the "Examinations" page and clicking "Get Marks" on the Annamalai University Distance Education official website.

Results for undergraduate, graduate, and research courses are posted on Annamalai University's official website. Additionally, through the Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University publishes the results of more than 500 courses taken via distance learning. By inputting their roll number in the internet portal on the official website, students can obtain the results.

How Can I View My Annamalai University Grades?

To download the results online, students can follow the instructions below:

• Visit the official website at www.coe.annamalaiuniversity.ac.in as the first step.
• Step 2: Go to the homepage, select the Examination table, and look for Results.
• Step 3: After the results list appears, select the one you want.
• Enter the roll number in Step 4 to see the results on the screen.
• Download the file for later usage in step five.

Through its training and placement division, Annamalai University holds recruitment events. Students in their last semester are welcome to take part in the recruitment drive held by Annamalai University. Prior to the placement drive, the university also conducts mock interviews and offers soft skills training.
