The 10+2 grades of applicants are used as the basis for the Amity University Lucknow admission standards. Candidates who achieve a score of more than 88% are qualified for direct admission to AUL, where there are no entrance exams or interviews required. Candidates who receive a score of less than 80% must, however, show up for a test, an interview, and a group discussion.

• To enrol in UG courses, students must have at least a 60% overall grade point average in 10+2. To be considered for admission, engineering and architecture candidates must have scores from the JEE, Amity JEE, State Level Entrance Exam, and NATA in addition to their Higher Secondary Certificates.
• Bachelor's Degree Certificate in a suitable stream is required for PG programs. Students interested in pursuing an MBA must achieve a minimum score on the CAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT, CMAT, AMCAT, or AMITY Test.
